This link up keeps things fresh and new…and it only takes 5 minutes! Even I can handle that! Check it out.
Here are the rules for this “Flash Mob of Writing” according to founder Miss Lisa Jo and now facilitator Kate Motaung>>
1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.
2. Link back and invite others to join in.
3. And then absolutely, no ifs, ands or buts about it, you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments.
Here we go!
5/8/2015: MEET

Start
How appropriate today’s focus is on the word GIFT…the very thing I hope to receive on today–My BIRTHDAY!
Gifts are my favorite thing about my birthday, but this birthday I am focusing on the gifts I already have.
I am grateful for a God Who loves me enough to make only one me. Special. Unique. One-of-a-kind. Special with my own talents, likes, and spin on life. And His gifts to me are what I can give back to Him and use to share with you and your gifts.
One gift is nice, but more gifts are always better.
So I’m not satisfied in just developing mine; I want to help yours to shine. And you know what’s best about that? It makes you a part of my gift.
So as you unwrap this present of today, be blessed knowing that YOU are a GIFT.
Beautiful words, sister.
Thanks,friend!
A-ha! Yes, picking our battles and fighting the GOOD fight. I think there is a reason we need that reminder to keep it above the belt. Praying bravery and wisdom for you this new year!
And I need it! Thank you!
So true. Learning to pick my battles, instead of letting them pick me.
I like that mindset,too.
Wow, I’ve never thought of ‘seeing’ and ‘saying’ as the same thing–but so often we use it that way!
I agree. Great point
